Editing Create Modules

Open the Create module by double-clicking. You can change the name of the module by editing the Name field and the type of entity created by editing the Entity Type field.

The default arrival type is Random (Expo), which implements exponential interarrivals with mean interarrival time set as Value. However, you can choose other types of arrivals including Expression which allows you to use an Arena expression (via the Arena Expression Builder) for arrivals. This can be useful for generating arrivals according to other probability distributions.

You can choose the Units of the interarrival time, you can create multiple Entities per Arrival, you can limit the total number of entities the Create module will generate with Max Arrivals and you can set the creation time of the first arrival with First Arrival.
